Progression

It is easy to get stuck doing the same workout each week particularly if you are working out on your own at home.  It might tick the box of moving more and burning calories but it might not give you the desired outcome.  Having a plan and pushing yourself that little bit harder each week will bring great rewards, by forcing your body to adapt to a slightly greater stimulus each week.  In order to see progression and reach your goals make a plan and record your efforts.  Try to increase the workout each week.  For example, if your goal is to get stronger and build more muscle then you could aim for a slight increase in the weights you lift each week or add on 1 or 2 more repetitions or increase the time under tension when lifting.  Random training = random results.  Making a plan and recording your progress = great results!
